The Teneo Industry is the industrial version of the Teneo Nano, specifically designed for industrial applications. Examples include monitoring water pumps, power supplies, sewage systems, generators and lighting.
The node is ideal for remote status monitoring (on/off) and sends an immediate message when a power interruption or power failure is detected. Because the Teneo Industry is equipped with eight digital I/O channels and can be expanded, users have countless possibilities to connect additional sensors. Existing meters or sensors can be connected (like water meters, kWh meters) and new sensors can also be integrated. The DIN‑rail housing means the module can easily be installed in existing cabinets or other objects without extensive modifications. Regarding LoRaWAN, the device is available both in Class A and Class C: the Class C variant offers faster response times and Class A offer lower power consumption, e.g. for usage together with 12V batteries.
