Particulate matter sensor
Insight into Air Quality and Air Pollution
The Teneo IoT fine dust sensor provides real-time insight into air quality by measuring various types of particulate matter, including PM1.0, PM2.5 and PM10. The sensor uses advanced optical detection technology and is designed for both indoor and outdoor environments.
Thanks to integrated LoRaWAN communication, measurement data can be transmitted over long distances with extremely low power consumption. It is also possible to forward data—via an API integration—to the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment’s (RIVM) Samen Meten initiative.
Why use a fine dust sensor?
Air quality is a key indicator of health and livability. Particulate matter concentrations play an important role in monitoring:
- Traffic and urban congestion;
- Industrial emissions;
- Construction activities;
- Indoor climate and ventilation performance;
- Environmental impact in public spaces;
With our sensors, organizations can respond quickly to elevated particulate levels, take appropriate measures, and inform citizens or employees. In combination with our Industry Tiny, it is even possible to automatically control ventilation systems.
